“Choose Life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a fucking big television”, I believe you are not unfamiliar with these words. It is the opening monologues from Mark in the disputable and controversial film-Trainspotting.
Mark Renton, a young man with few prospects and fewer ambitions, lives in economically depressed Edinburgh. Like most of his friends, Renton is a heroin addict who loves the drug’s blissful nothingness; financing his habit also provides excitement and challenges that his life otherwise lacks. Renton’s two best friends are also junkies: Sick Boy, a snappy dresser, and Spud, an honest nerd. Renton and his pals also hang out with Begbie, a borderline psychotic who loathes junkies even though he drinks like a fish. After one too many brushes with the law, Renton kicks heroin and moves to London, where he finds a job, a flat, and something close to peace of mind. However, Sick Boy, Begbie, and Spud all arrive at his doorstep on the trail of a big score, leading Renton back into drugs and crime.

Director: Francis Lawrence
Cast: Will Smith/Alice Braga/Salli Richardson/Paradox Pollack/Charlie Tahan

Are you expecting Will Smith as humorous as Hitch or as careless as he as the detective in I, Robert? This time, Will is the only major person in this disaster film. Due to the spread of a lethal virus, U.S. Army virologist Lieutenant Colonel Robert Neville (Will Smith) is left as the last healthy human in New York City, and possibly the entire creepy world. Every day, he broadcast the same thing: My name is Robert Neville. I am a survivor living in New York City. I am broadcasting on all AM frequencies. I will be at the South Street Seaport everyday at mid-day, when the sun is highest in the sky. If you are out there… if anyone is out there… I can provide food, I can provide shelter, I can provide security. If there’s anybody out there… anybody… please. You are not alone.

The story opens in 2012, and a series of flashbacks and recorded news programs reveal that three years earlier a measles virus, called KV, was originally created as a cure for cancer, mutated into a lethal strain, similar to rabies, which rapidly infected humans and some animal species. By the end of the first year following the infection, more than 90% of the planet’s human population died; over 9% were infected, but did not die. These survivors turn into zombies. The remaining 1% were immune to the v

Different from other disaster films which highlight the terror and panic of normal people, this one put emphasis on the bravery and hope of human being. Although isolated and dreadful, Neville never give up the hope of finding his cousins. And finally, he made it and worked out the cure of the virus. In order to save the rare human beings-a woman and her kids, he devoted his life to fighting with the zombies.

Do you want to see something special? Possibly something that will have you look at relationships and life in a slightly different way.
If you are, then Big Fish could be just the thing you are after.
It is a gentle and whimsical story of Edward Bloom (Albert Finney and Ewan McGregor) whose tall tales of his life makes him attractive to almost everybody.
One person who is not so keen on the stories is his son Will who has kept distance from his dad because he doesn’t believe Edward is being truthful with him.

The two are reunited when Ed falls critically ill and Will returns from France with his wife Josephine to spend time with him.
Through a series of flashbacks the tale of Ed Bloom’s adventurous life is told and the essence of it is his fidelity for his

Colorful Life of Young Edward

wife.
Big Fish is a quiet and colorful film that includes mysterious villages, circus acts, giants, witches, strange things, and true love. You are pretty sure that Ed’s tales are fictional, but then in a Burton movie you can never tell. You may feel this film is the illusion of Burton’s ideal life. That’s also my guess. The fearless, persistent Edward is just the ideal image of Tim Burton. If so, I will love Tim Burton more than ever
The cast is superb with both Finney and MacGregor (who plays the younger Ed) performing brilliantly. The video transfer is exquisite and the soundtrack is very harmonious.
Big Fish an exceptional tale that will leave you feeling pleasantly surprised. It is a movie that should be seen by absolutely everyone – young and old.

Countless skyscrapers, flowing vehicles, here is New York-the incredible city. You may call it as you wish: The Big Apple, The Concrete Jungle, and The City That Never Sleeps. The charm of this city is as various as its name. People with dreams come from different places, in every walk of life, happen to meet in pubs, or walk by under streetlamps. Curious, they chat to each other; lonesome, they fascinate each other. Exotic romances play on this full-of-coincidence city-New York.
This film is a collective work of twelve short films, with each segment running around 10 minutes long. Some of the actors have international status (Natalie Portman, Shia LaBeouf, Hayden Christensen, Orlando Bloom, and Irrfan Khan), with each shooting

Actors:Tom Hanks …..Sam Baldwin
Rosie O’Donnell …..Becky

Nora Ephron’s “Sleepless in Seattle” is a feather-light romantic comedy about two lovers who meet for the first time in the last reel. It’s a stunt, but it’s a stunt that works far more effectively than anybody in his right mind has reason to expect. Not since “Love Story” has there been a movie that so shrewdly and predictably manipulated the emotions for such entertaining effect. Be warned, though: “Sleepless in Seattle” is a movie you may hate yourself in the morning for having loved the night before.

The situation is this: the recently widowed Sam Baldwin (Tom Hanks), a successful architect, has moved to Seattle from Chicago to try to assuage his sorrow. One night, his 8-year-old son, Jonah (Ross Malinger), calls a late-night radio talk-show psychiatrist. It is Christmas, and the boy is worried about his dad. The furious, embarrassed Sam then gets on the phone. Before he realizes it, he’s talking about his perfect marriage before a large portion of the United States population…?
